Project Legacy
In 2023 I began collaborating with women who have been diagnosed with terminal illness. Prompted by a conversation about age and expectations we began to explore pleasure. We have found it in food, vibrators, clothes, sex workers, walks, pornography, films and events.
Project Legacy is a collaboration between myself, contributors, supporting artists, neuroscientists, technologists and activists. Our ambition is to create an interactive experience where participants have the time and the space to experience the pleasures of others, and to think about their own.
At its core, a legacy is the enduring impact you leave on the world, the people you touch, and the values or traditions you pass down to future generations. Never wait for bad news, enjoy what you have and don’t wait for permission. Find joy where you can. There is no such thing as a guilty pleasure.
